John boasts more than twenty-five years of experience in both the governmental and political arenas where he has helped Republican candidates at all levels win and successfully serve in office. In addition to successfully working with more than fifteen contested legislative incumbents and candidates in 2014, John helped the Senate Republican Campaign Committee (SRCC) capture one of the most targeted seats in the state. This seat in western Pennsylvania had been held by the Democratic Party for more than a half century. He implemented an effective summer and fall mail and media blitz in this race that saw spending from both sides exceed $3 million. John was responsible for overall strategy and messaging, producing more than 20 pieces of mail and five television spots to secure the victory. Prior to becoming a professional consultant, John served six years as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC) where he oversaw and directed state House races across the Commonwealth with a $5 million budget each cycle. Today, John works with dozens of legislators in the PA State House and State Senate in his role as a consultant and each election year provides strategic and communications advice to targeted incumbents and challengers across Pennsylvania.
John also served as the Director of District Operations. This department helped state House members effectively communicate and better serve their constituents. In this position, John earned a reputation as a tireless worker and trusted advisor.
John previously served as Executive Director of the Cambria County Republican Committee. He helped secure wins in a county where Democrats outnumber Republicans two to one. That experience was put into play again in 2011 and 2013, when John helped judicial candidates across the state win, and enabled County Commissioner candidates in predominately Democrat-registered counties to capture Republican majorities.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, John is a resident of Somerset County, where he and his wife, Melissa, are raising their three children, Jacob, Abby and Riley.
